No wonder flyovers and bridges scare us!
One of them is currently involved in Metro rail projects in two metros. On verifying¿ the prospect"s employment antecedents we found all the documents furnished¿ by him forged. From one of the companies he was infact sacked on grounds of unethical practices. The report from the other company was no better. The HR said that the service letter was a fake and the signature was definitely not his.
But the worse was¿ yet to come. We reached the institution where he had presumably done his diploma in civil engineering. The report from the office of the Principal was baffling! There was never ever a student in their record by that name. The certificate was a fake!

If this is true .... then it is really scary!

well, this also speaks volumes about the recruitment process. i mean if the recruitment process is solely based on previous work experience documents, it deserves this. I"m sure all these companies have interviewed the engineer and would have asked him about his experiences. do you think it is possible to fake knowledge? If the companies were not looking for knowledge and the interviewers were so gullible, probably the job may not require that much of experience.
please do not misunderstand me. i"m not supporting this faking engineer. but one should also consider carefully what one is looking for in a candidate.

Such instances should be highlighted in various HR forums and Blogs.
